Hey guys just wanted to share a little video clip with you all. My homie Cee Lo Green recently gave an amazing performance on the Billboard Music Awards. He played a medley of hits including the massive single “Crazy” (from his Gnarls Barkley project) a new single “Bright Lights, Bigger City” and a PC version of MY REMIX OF HIS SMASH SINGLE “FUCK YOU”! This was an especially amazing moment for me, getting to see a song i produced and wrote music for performed by an artist that i have so much respect for on the Billboard Music Awards! Any way needless to say he killed it with his unique vocal style and even more unique show! Check it out for yourself below!

Alright so today is my first day down here in Austin, Tx for SXSW 2011 and I am PUMPED to rage with everyone! (Click here for more info on my SXSW shows)… However i know there are a lot of you guys out there that can’t make it down to SXSW this year so i thought i would give away a little audio freebie for you guys to kick off your own parties with where ever you are! Most of you guys probably recognize D.I.M.‘s original version of Is You as one of his biggest club smashers to date. The original single came out on Boys Noize Records way back in 2007 and was definitely one of my personal favorites of the time! Any way being the rad guy that he is D.I.M. sent me the parts to do a remix of this song way back when. I was super stoked to do it but unfortunately the timing didn’t work out and i got busy with other songs and projects and didn’t get around to doing the remix. Flash-forward to a couple months ago when i re-heard the original Is You and was reminded of how much i love this song. I decided to go ahead and finally bust out the forgotten remix… I knew it was far too late to do any sort of real release for the remix since the original came out quite some time ago but i figured what the hell i’ll just do it for fun and give it away for free! After all isn’t music supposed to be about having fun and sharing your creativity? Any way enough with the saga here’s the tune. Crank it up and enjoy!

The entire trip and both of the shows in Cape Town and Johannesburg / Pretoria were simply an amazing experience! I am also extremely excited to announce that i have been added to the Bayfront Live Stage (the main electro stage) at ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL on Saturday March 27th during WMC in Miami. Be sure to come by the stage and check me out along with Boys Noise, Erol Alkan, Bloody Beetroots, Crookers, A-trak, Diplo, Steve Aoki, and Ghostland Observatory! This one is sure to be one of the best parties of the year!
As many of you who follow My Twitter or My Facebook might know, BLOW UP, a party in San Francisco California hosted by two of my dearest friends Jeffrey and Ava was one of my absolute FAVORITE parties to DJ at in the world! Sadly i recently received the heart breaking news that this legendary weekly party has come to an end. It seems the venue ran into some issues with the the law and the BLOW UP crew were unable to find another suitable venue that could deliver all the elements that they felt were needed to keep this party alive with the intensity of energy and amazing vibes that it has been know for for so long.
I just thought it would be cool to share this tribute video with every one. there’s some pretty cool footage of me DJing (the opening shot) there are also some pretty funny pictures of me in there and a slew of other great DJs make appearances in the video as well!
Also here is a video from a few months back of my most recent appearance at BLOW UP.
Any way just for the record I have a sneaky suspicion that this is not truly the end of the BLOW UP legacy but perhaps just the closing of a chapter. I have full confidence that the BLOW UP team will be back with something newer, fresher, and even more amazing in due time. In what form I do not know… I guess we’ll just have to wait and see for now.
